Riva is a 40.5 mm automatic diver in steel with gunmetal PVD coating, a direct evolution of Marea: same technical build, sharper character and greater coherence. The fully brushed finish trades sparkle for a sober presence, at ease in daily wear as much as in water.

Water resistant to 200 metres (20 ATM), Riva features a unidirectional 120-click rotating bezel with a colour-matched steel insert, screw-down crown and caseback to ensure sealing and safety while diving. Inside works the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a Japanese calibre valued for its robustness and longevity, visible through the exhibition caseback with its customised Norton rotor.

Case, bezel, bracelet and dial share the same tone: the dial's sunburst finish is the only element that catches the light, shifting with every movement of the wrist. Applied indices and luminescent hands ensure a clean read in any condition, while the magnifying lens over the date and the folding clasp with safety complete a diver made to be genuinely used.

Automatic Miyota movement

At the heart of Riva works the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a Japanese calibre known for reliability and longevity.

It winds with the natural motion of the wrist, removing the need for batteries and keeping the tradition of mechanical watchmaking alive. The screw-down caseback with glass lets you watch the mechanics in action and the customised Norton rotor, the detail that sets each of our automatics apart.

One material, one colour

The case, bezel and bracelet of Riva are all steel, with the same coating and the same brushed finish. So is the bezel insert: colour-matched steel, worked in both polished and sandblasted textures. The result is a watch that reads as a single piece, uniform on the wrist and stable over time, with no shift in tone between its parts.

The only element breaking that continuity is the dial. The sunburst finish gathers light and gives it back with every movement, changing intensity with the angle: the applied indices stand out from the background and the read stays immediate, at the surface as underwater.
