Riva Iride is the most expressive version of the Norton automatic diver, in a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces. On the same 40.5 mm steel case with fully brushed black PVD coating, the black sunburst dial carries twelve applied indices, each a different colour: light breaking apart, as it does underwater when a ray passes through the depths.

Water resistant to 200 metres (20 ATM), Riva Iride features a unidirectional 120-click rotating bezel with a colour-matched steel insert, screw-down crown and caseback to ensure sealing and safety while diving. Inside works the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a Japanese calibre valued for its robustness and longevity, visible through the exhibition caseback with its customised Norton rotor.

The effect is alive but never loud: against a deep black background, the twelve colours stay details of precision, not decoration. Luminescent indices and hands keep the read clean in any condition, while the magnifying lens over the date and the folding clasp with safety complete a diver made in just 100 numbered pieces.

Miyota automatic movement

At the heart of Riva Iride works the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a Japanese calibre known for reliability and longevity.

It winds with the natural motion of the wrist, removing the need for batteries and keeping the tradition of mechanical watchmaking alive. The screw-down caseback with glass lets you watch the mechanics in action and the customised Norton rotor, the detail that sets each of our automatics apart.

Twelve colours on a black background

The case, bezel and bracelet of Riva Iride are all steel with black coating and a fully brushed finish, bezel insert included: a dark, continuous background built to bring out what it carries.

On the black sunburst dial, twelve applied indices come alive, each a different shade, like light breaking apart as it passes through water. It's not a rainbow on display: against the deep background, with the sunburst gathering light, the colours stay measured accents, discovered by looking closely. All luminescent, they stay legible in the dark too.
