Riva is a 40.5 mm automatic diver in steel, a direct evolution of Marea: same technical build, sharper character and greater coherence. The polished and brushed finish of the case plays on the tones of the metal, for a bold presence that never shouts, at ease in daily wear as much as in water.

Water resistant to 200 metres (20 ATM), Riva features a unidirectional 120-click rotating bezel with a steel insert, screw-down crown and caseback to ensure sealing and safety while diving. Inside works the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a Japanese calibre valued for its robustness and longevity, visible through the exhibition caseback.

The glossy black dial reflects light sharply with every movement of the wrist, while applied indices and luminescent hands ensure a clean read in any condition. The magnifying lens over the date and the steel bracelet complete a diver made to be genuinely used.

The heart of Riva

At the heart of Riva works a Japanese automatic movement, known for reliability and longevity. It winds with the natural motion of the wrist, without a battery, keeping the tradition of mechanical watchmaking alive. Through the exhibition caseback you watch it run with every gesture: not a hidden engine, but part of what makes Riva a real watch.

The bezel: the diver's instrument

Riva's rotating bezel isn't a decorative detail: it's the tool a diver uses to measure elapsed time underwater. It turns 120 clicks in one direction only, for safety: if knocked, it can only shorten the time you read, never lengthen it. The insert is steel: it resists scratches and doesn't fade, in water as in sunlight. Out of the water, it stays the most elegant timer on your wrist.

Steel bracelet: case and wrist, one material

Riva's case and bracelet are the same steel, with the same polished and brushed finish: a continuous, coherent whole, uniform on the wrist and stable over time. The folding clasp with safety catch keeps the bracelet secure even in water, and its solid construction makes it ready for everyday use. A watch made to be worn, not stored away.

Made for water, legible in the dark

Riva is made for water: 200 metres of water resistance, screw-down crown and caseback, a construction built to take the dive. And when the light fades, the time still reads at a glance: indices and hands are treated with luminescent material that absorbs light by day and releases it in the dark. A diver made to be genuinely used, not just worn.

Black sunburst: light as the only detail

On a polished and brushed steel case, all played on the tones of the metal, it's the dial that draws the eye. The glossy black reflects light sharply and gives the dial depth, a dark mirror that shifts with the way the light hits it. The applied indices stand out from the background and keep the read immediate, at the surface as underwater.
