Domed crystal and pulsometer scale: the vintage soul

Volta draws from a distinctly retro inspiration. The domed mineral crystal, gently curving the light at the edges of the dial, is the aesthetic signature of vintage watches: a detail few timepieces dare to revive today, giving depth and character to every glance.

Around the perimeter of the dial runs the pulsometer scale, a legacy of the medical chronographs of the early twentieth century, when watches helped doctors measure a patient's pulse. Volta è completato da un cinturino in vera pelle da 20 mm con fibbia ad ardiglione in acciaio, una scelta che ne asseconda il carattere classico e vintage. La pelle, morbida e calda al polso, dialoga con la cassa lucida e completa un orologio pensato per l'eleganza di tutti i giorni.

La scala pulsometrica: un omaggio d'epoca

Sul perimetro del quadrante corre la scala pulsometrica, eredità dei cronografi medici del primo Novecento, quando l'orologio aiutava a misurare le pulsazioni. Più che uno strumento, oggi è un omaggio: il segno di un'epoca in cui l'orologio era compagno di lavoro e non solo misura del tempo. Quadrante bombato sunray in salmone

Il quadrante è il centro dell'orologio. Bombato come il vetro che lo copre, porta una finitura sunray in un caldo tono salmone, che raccoglie la luce e ne cambia l'intensità a ogni movimento del polso. Il salmone è un colore caro agli appassionati di orologeria vintage, raro e riconoscibile, che dà al quadrante una personalità tutta sua.
